Resilient Diamond Heights (RDH) is part of the Diamond Heights Neighborhood Association that works with the San Francisco Neighborhood Empowerment Network to help the residents of Diamond Heights be better prepared for, and survive, disasters such as earthquakes, excessive heat, wildfires, and violent storms.  When a disaster strikes, the local community will be on its own until city, state and federal help arrives.  RDH fills the response gap by providing the resources and the training to help you, your family and your community respond to the immediate aftermath of a disaster.  Prior to COVID, RDH organized a working group of community volunteers. Through periodic meetings, RDH provided volunteers with information and training for disaster response.  Now, with the COVID related restrictions eased, the working group can meet again in person.
Saturday, April 22, 4:00 – 6:00pm
• Review/learn how RDH will respond to a disaster
• Receive information on what you need to know and do in a disaster
• Help plan future working group activities
• All attendees will receive an emergency “Go Bag” of items useful in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.
• We will meet at 4 pm followed by a hot meal at 5 pm.
To help us plan for this event, please RSVP by replying to this message or sending and email to dhcasf@gmail.com.
