Diamond Heights Blvd. Median Project Volunteer Workday: Saturday, July 15, 9 – 12 noon for Love Our City Event
San Francisco Public Works is assisting volunteer programs in District 8 on July 15th. The Median Project is very grateful to participant in this Love Our City Event. Public Works Staff will provide lane closure, tools and mulch to help volunteers including a Boy Scout Troop #15 Eagle Scout Project in clearing and mulching the median from Duncan to the north entrance to the Diamond Heights Shopping Center. The photo above shows the work completed by another #15 Eagle Scout Project.
Meet at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church on DH Blvd. at Gold Mine Dr. next to Safeway between 9 – 12 noon.
Help is needed to pull weeds and pick up trash on the median islands.
No gardening experience required.
Tools and safety jackets will be provided.
Bathrooms available.
Recommended for ages 12 and above because of the traffic on the Blvd.
