| Boy Scouts from Troop #15 have transformed our neighborhood medians. 3 Scouts have completed Eagle Scout projects performing hard work to clear, mulch and install new plants. The Median Project is looking forward to more Scout projects. Help is still needed to maintain the medians and pay for new plants and supplies. Please donate to help us. You can donate via the SF Parks Alliance portal or mail a check c/o Diamond Heights Community Association, PO Box 31529, San Francisco, CA 94131. Please make the check payable to the San Francisco Parks Alliance with Median Project in the memo line. All donations are tax deductible and will be acknowledged. Workday: Saturday, August 19, 9:00 to 12:00, even an hour or two is helpful! Meet at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church on DH Blvd. at Gold Mine Dr. next to Safeway Help is needed to pull weeds and pick up trash on the median islands. No gardening experience required. Tools and safety jackets will be provided. Bathrooms are available. Recommended for ages 12 and above because of the traffic on the Blvd. Please reply to this message or to Betsy Eddy at dhcasf@gmail.com to let us know if you plan to help out.
