Four New Benches Installed in Christopher Park!
The Diamond Heights Community Association (DHCA) thanks Supervisor Rafael Mandelman for providing funding to the SF Recreation and Park Department for four new benches. The DHCA and Friends of Christopher Park requested more benches in the park after renovations were completed in 2021. A specific request was for a bench in front of the tennis court so that players could sit while waiting for the court to be free. Rec and Park staff went the extra mile by cutting an indention in the planter bed to fit in the new bench. Three other benches were installed along the pathway around the ballpark/meadow. All four benches are terrific enhancements for people enjoying our beautiful Christopher Park!
