Flashing Beacon Activation at Cross Walk at Diamond Heights Blvd. and Duncan near Clipper
Thursday, April 4th, 2024 – 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
The public is invited to the activation of important traffic signage that will make a dangerous intersection safer. The DHCA thanks the SFMTA for installing the flashing beacons that will be turned on by pedestrians. A big thanks to Jeff Rubin, Diamond Heights resident, for advocating to make the intersection safer for pedestrians.

Participants: Supervisor Mandelman, Community members, MTA and Public Works staff
Schedule:
- 11:00 am: Signal Shop prepares the RRFB (Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons) for activation
- 11:30 am: Community comments/inputs
- 12:00 pm: D8 Supervisor activates the beacons for the first time
