Volunteer to Make Our Medians Beautiful on Feb. 15!

Join Us for the Diamond Heights Blvd. Median Project Workday!

Saturday, February 15th, 9 – 12 noon
Help pull weeds and pick up trash!

There are plenty of oxalis weeds to pull up. Though a pretty plant with yellow flowers, oxalis is a weed that spreads easily, is very invasive and crowds out our installed plants. The grass will be weed whacked but there are plenty of dandelions and other weeds to pull due to all the recent rain.
Please forward this message to friends, neighbors, and your email lists. Help finding more volunteers is most appreciated!

Please reply to this message or to Betsy Eddy at dhcasf@gmail.com to let us know if you plan to attend.

The Median Project workdays are an all volunteer program to provide  attractive medians. Though supported by Public Works, the Dept. does not have the staff capacity to do the maintenance on the medians.
