Change in Leadership for the DHCA!
The Diamond Heights Community Association Board unanimously voted in Daniel Schereck as president and Dennise Gearty as vice president effective Feb. 12. Daniel and Dennise have the energy, skills and concern for Diamond Heights that forecasts a bright future for the DHCA.
Daniel until recently worked at Apple for 13 years. For over a year Daniel has been on the DHCA Board and the Resilient Diamond Heights and Diamond Heights Blvd. Median Project Steering Committees. If you see a tall man weed whacking the grass on the Blvd. medians, that is Daniel.
Dennise retired from Cisco a year ago. Both Dennise and Daniel are focused on increasing contacts with the DHCA and learning the suggestions and needs for improving our neighborhood. You can contact Daniel at danielschereck@me.com. Dennise’s address is dennisegearty@iclould.com.
It has been an honor to serve as president of the DHCA and work with many of you on improvements in Diamond Heights. Our neighborhood has a unique history, a beautiful location and has many residents who are willing to work on needed changes. I will stay on the Board as a resource advisor.
As an example of Daniel’s and Dennise’s care for the neighborhood, they both volunteered at our Diamond Heights Blvd. Median Project on Feb. 15. They weed whacked and picked up trash, pinecones and branches. Their photo is below.
