Call for Volunteers to Keep Medians Beautiful!

Dennise Gearty and Daniel Schereck – volunteers on Feb. 15.

Join Us for the Diamond Heights Blvd. Median Project Workday!

Saturday, March 15th, 9 – 12 noon
Help pull weeds and pick up trash!

For anyone who has experience using a weed whacker, the Median Project offers a stipend and all the tools needed to keep the medians trimmed for several months. Please reply to this message if interested in this opportunity and also if you would like to volunteer on March 15 to Betsy Eddy at dhcasf@gmail.com

Please forward this message to friends, neighbors, and your email lists. Help finding more volunteers is most appreciated!

If you are not available on March 15, our volunteers days are the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9 – 12 noon. Hope you will consider joining us.
The Median Project workdays are an all volunteer program to provide  attractive medians. Though supported by Public Works, the Dept. does not have the staff capacity to do the maintenance on the medians.

  • 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. March 15th. Even an hour or two will help!

  • No gardening experience required.
  • Tools and safety jackets will be provided.
