Funding Available for Block Parties Provided by the Civic Joy Fund
In the past, Resilient Diamond Heights has funded Block Parties in Diamond Heights. Unfortunately, RDH does not have funding available currently. RDH strongly encourages Block Parties to meet neighbors, have fun, and perhaps start organizing for how to help neighbors in an emergency or disaster.
The Civic Joy Fund provides funding for Block Parties: The Civic Joy Fund’s mission is to “revitalize San Francisco through culture, art, and community events. The Fund organizes regular night markets, neighborhood block parties, and community events” and provides funding for events.

Please let Resilient Diamond Heights know if you decide to have a Block Party in Diamond Heights. We can provide basic emergency equipment for prize drawings, representatives to talk about how to become involved in RDH, and other support.
