Join Us for the Diamond Heights Blvd.
Median Project Workday!
Saturday, June 21st, 9 – 12 pm
Join us to pick up trash and do easy weeding.

On June 7th, Public Works led 17 volunteers and 5 Public Works staff in removing most of the plants on Diamond Heights Blvd. median from Berkeley Way to Diamond St. (where Diamond goes downhill to Noe Valley). Public Works plans to replant that section of the median in the future. Volunteers will be needed to help out. This will be a major improvement for our neighborhood since that section was scraggly due to cars running over the medians and destroying plants. Thank you Public Works!
Please forward this message to friends, neighbors, and your email lists.
Help finding more volunteers is most appreciated! Please reply to this message or to Betsy Eddy at dhcasf@gmail.com to let us know if you plan to attend.
Future Median Project Workdays will be Saturdays: July 19, August 16 and continuing on the 3rd Saturday of the month, 9:00 to 12 noon.
The Median Project workdays are an all volunteer program to provide attractive medians. Though supported by Public Works, the Dept. does not have the staff capacity to do the maintenance on the medians.
