The SF Planning Commission Hearing
on 10-Story Macro Tower with 12 Antennas
on SF Police Academy property has been rescheduled to
Thursday, July 24, 12 noon
City Hall, Room 400, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place
How to Support and Oppose
Though there is support for the AT&T Macro Tower due to dead zones for wireless coverage, there is also opposition. The majority of the DHCA Board members voted to oppose the installation. The flyer attached below provides reasons for opposition and how to take action to have a balanced conversation about the suitability of placing a 10-Story Macro Tower, 12 antennas, 9 radio receivers, a 190 gallon diesel storage tank and generator in back of Police Academy next to Christopher Park and Glen Canyon Park.
Please see the flyer below for actions to take. Please forward this message to friends and neighbors. Please post the flyer. You can click on each page and download the flyer. To review flyer text better, zoom in.
Please email all of your opposition letters to Catherine Dodd, catherine.dodd@gmail.com by July 15. Catherine will provide your letters to SF Planning for the packet of information for the Commissioners. Please use the SF Planning address below in your letter listing each Commissioner’s name. Catherine is willing to help you with your letters.
Only concerns about safety and aesthetics may be included in your letter. Radiation concerns are not considered reasons for opposing the Macro Tower.
