Join us on Tuesday, October 21 at 6 p.m. to learn how you can support Diamond Heights and surrounding communities communicate effectively during emergencies.
Resilient Diamond Heights (RDH) introduced the Block Response Team program at our meeting on August 26.
We were pleased to meet several participants who showed an interest in becoming part of this program. This lets us start training team members with information about the way to respond to extraordinary events such as heatwaves, wildfires, earthquakes and storms.
Our next training exercise will focus on the communications we’ll use when a serious event occurs. This includes how we’ll use two-way radios and paper-based messaging in case modern technologies like cell service and the internet fail.
We invite the participants from last month to return and be joined by new community members as well.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Please RSVP to dhcasf@gmail.comif you plan to attend.
