Message from Joshua Davidson:
McAteer Community Farm is doing our second organic compost giveaway of the year Saturday, March 30, 9am-12pm, supported by CalRecycle! SFE and California Climate Action Corps will be on hand with composting and gardening tips and info, and we have 20 cubic yards of compost to give away. Be sure to bring your own bucket(s)!

Please spread the word (printable flyer attached). Our fall event was a lot of fun, and we’re eager to keep growing our community.

1pm-4pm we’ll be having a farm and climate work day, and volunteers and visitors are welcome to check out what we’re building. I’ll be running our wood-fired adobe pizza oven.

McAteer Community Farm is a project of Academy SF @ McAteer High School and Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, with help from Friends of SOTA, Foodwise, FoodCorps, and SFUSD Student Nutrition Services (that’s me!). We’re building a community space on campus for education and engagement, so look forward to additional events in the future.

I hope to see y’all there! Tell your neighbors and email or call if you have any questions.
